She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur B. Shaffer and Mary G. Shaffer; and her brother Arthur B. Shaffer, Jr. (Bud). She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. Riley (Deborah) and Daniel C. Riley, Jr. (Jamie); her siblings, Dorothy G. Peddicord of Westminster and Paul W. Shaffer of Hampstead; her grandchildren, Brenden Riley, Daniel T. Riley (Kassie), Christian J. Riley and Allyson K. Gilberto; and her great grandchildren, Tristan and Declan.
