He was predeceased by: his parent James Wilson; his spouse Alvina Charlotte Emrhein Clary; his daughter Joan Meffert; his siblings, Wilson Clary and Franklin Clary (Anita); and his brothers-in-law, Maynard Lauterbach and Samuel Wilson.
He is survived by: his parent Anna Ernestine Kent Clary; his daughters, Karen Gibson (David) and Janice Cohen; his grandchildren, Laura Gibson, Justin Cohen, Brandon Cohen (Haelee Pettingill) and Kenneth Higgins (Karen); and his sisters, Miriam Lauterbach and Jeanette Wilson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Appalachian Mountain Ministry to feed hungry Appalachian children.
