She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bartholomew Everd and Dorothy Mae Wilt Everd; her husband Herman Elterman; her children, Michael Thomas Gissner and Gail Louise Boyd; her grandson Ronald H. Horst III; and her brother Richard Everd.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Charles Boyd; her great grandchild Levi Evan Horst; her sisters, Dorothy "Dottie" Lichtfuss (Ernie) and Marlene Lewis (Len); and her sister-in-law Joyce Everd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
