It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Groves Jr. of Manchester, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 3, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dallas Groves, Sr. and Edith Heinke Groves; his spouse Hella Ida Groves; and his daughters, Anita Moore and Ursula Rita Mahon.
He is survived by: his children, Hella Metzler of Hampstead and Konrad Pete Engl of Perry Hall. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren.
