He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosemarie K. Hofmann, and Erich J. Hofmann, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Judith C. Hofmann (Gist); his daughters, Ashley N. Hofmann of Westminster and Heather C. Keefer (John "Rob") of Westminster; his grandsons, Jakob R. and William J. Keefer of Westminster; his siblings-in-law, Francis Gist (Karen) of Jarrettsville and Carol Brooks of Delaware; his family Alvin Keefer (Sandy) of Westminster; and his sister Jacqueline Sellers (Darwin) of Sykesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great great-nieces and nephews.
