He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Edward Miller and Anna Pauline LeGore Miller; his wife Norma Jean Smith Miller; his sisters, Jean Graf (Richard Graf) and Janet Lang (Ervin); and his brothers-in-law, Nelson Winter and Lavere Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Smith (John) of Salem, VA, Chad Miller (Christina) of Hampstead, Todd Miller (Angie) of Florida, Travis Miller, Justin Miller and Trevor Miller; and his siblings, Doris Blocher (Larry) of Hanover, PA, Mary Lou Winter of Finksburg, Donna Jones of Westminster, Carla Frankin (Luther) of Hampstead, Barbara Leedy (Cloyd) of Hampstead and Jerry Miller (Sharon) of Hampstead. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
