She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Therit and Myrtle Therit (Fogle); her husband Richard Phelps; her sister Betty Shaffer Gouker; her brothers-in-law, Carl Hicks and Donald Gouker; and her nephew Dennis Reginald Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward McDonough Phelps of Freeland, MD. and Michael Neil Phelps of Manchester; her granddaughter Allison Myers (David) of Hanover, PA.; her great grandchildren, Brayden and Elise Myers; her sister Madeline "Madge" Hicks of Lake May, FL.; and her nieces, Sandra Peterson and Shari Cornish.
