With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlotte Marie Gutknecht of Manchester, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Staton and Nancy Staton (Gouker); and her sister Patty Eyler. She is survived by: her husband Uwe; her sons, Bryant Gutknecht, Brandon Gutknecht, Bryce Gutknecht and Lyle Gutknecht; and her siblings, Sandy L. Staton, Dottie L. Watkins, Chris E. Alban, Mitch W. Staton and J. Dan Staton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Autism Society, 4340 East West Hwy Suite 350, Bethesda, MD 20814.
