It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Gleespen of Manchester, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Martin Lingner and Alice Carol Lingner; and her grandson Joey Gleespen Graf. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Gleespen; her children, John Gleespen (Jill) of Manchester, Kimberly Graf (Shane) of Manchester and Paul Gleespen (Sharon) of Hampstead; her grandchildren, Madison Gleespen, Emma Gleespen, Blane Graf, Gracie Graf, Rilynn Graf, James Gleespen and Quinn Gleespen; and her sisters, Patricia Grimm and Sherry Bastress. She is also survived by spouses, and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Manchester Volunteer Fire Company, 3209 Main Street PO Box 416, Manchester, MD. 21102, or to the New Lutheran Cemetery, 1900 Harvey Yingling Road, Manchester, MD. 21102.
