Oakes; his former wife Angelia Lednum; his wife Angie Tanner of Madison; his siblings, Chris Oakes (Nikki) of Preston and Amy Oakes (Chris Tolley) of Trappe; his nephews, Mason, Bryce, Cole and Jules; his niece Ava; and his grandparents, Glenn, Shirley Bailey of Howard County and Eleanor Oakes of Missouri.
