She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Casimo and Josephine Casimo of Aberdeen; and her siblings, Patricia Gilland, Anthony Casimo and Joseph Casimo.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Lohrey; and her siblings, Michael Casimo and Deborah Hutchinson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joanne's name can be made to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra or the Nature Conservancy.
