He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edward Smith and Hazel Smith (Heim). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Smith (Sprecher); his children, Astin Lewis Smith (Renee) of Lusby, MD and Lindsey Laughlin Smith of Annapolis, MD; his grandchild Skyla Rose Smith of Lusby, MD; and his brother Scott Smith.
