She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Gilner Jr. and Patricia E. Balas; and her husband James William Ward. She is survived by: her sons, Jerrick (Becca) of Fredericksburg, VA and Justin Ward of Fredericksburg, VA; and her brothers, James Gilner III of Maryland and David Gilner of Maryland.
