He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel G. E. Bowers, Sr. and Esther Naomi "Omie" Bowers (Lau); his son Samuel "Sambo" Bowers III; and his brothers, Ray Bowers and Kelly Bowers.
He is survived by: his siblings, E. Lynn Zurek of Pasadena, MD and Paula Jo Joy (Glenn) of Lusby, MD; and his pet Brutis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home–lusby (20 American Ln, Lusby, MD 20657).
