With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lynda Mae Bowman of Lusby, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marshall and Doris Mae Carpenter (Spahr); her husband Ronald Bowman; her daughter Rhonda Charest; her grandson Matthew Charest; her brother Keith Carpenter; and her sons-in-law, Matthew Charest and Martin Jackson.
She is survived by: her pet Nina; her children, Diana Stoaks of Prince Frederick, Elizabeth "Liz" Newman (Anthony) of Meredosia, IL and George Francis "Frank" Jackson, Jr. (Diana) of St. Leonard; her grandchildren, Brandi Briggs (Kenny), Frankie Jackson (Lauren), Heather O'Donnell (John), William Charest (Dawn) and Kenneth Charest; and her siblings, Gary Carpenter (Laura), Greg Carpenter (Ronda), Marsha Krashoc (John) and Virginia Carpenter Riley. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (105 Vianney Ln, Prince Frederick, MD 20678).
