He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Hoofnagle and Ethel Hoofnagle (McGunigal); and his son Timothy. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his granddaughter Chelsea of Lusby, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Lucy Walsh (John) of Berlin, MD and Geraldine Kalal (Paul) of Virginia Beach, VA.
