He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marr Cocanougher and Martha Elizabeth Grundy; and his sister Bonnie (James Porter). He is survived by: his siblings, Billy Wakefield (Mary C.), Patricia Reed, Lucinda, Bernadette Porter, Gene (Marcia), Steve (Ada) and Elizabeth Coleman (Hillary); his children, Robinson Generalao (Lizette), Pia Myers (George), Ruby Generalao, Lyka Cocanougher (Jeremiah Felder), Christian Donesa, William and Fritz Gemperle; his grandchildren, Zaileigh, Sydney, Louanne, Leland, Hayden, Kendra, Kesha, Kendall and Kenzo; his nieces and nephews, Chris, Felicia, Ciara, Desiree, Chase, Jordan and Cassius; and his great-nephews, Rashan of Darius, TJ, Christian and James.
