He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Mitchell and Lavina Mitchell (Huskey); his wife Janis Mitchell (Regan); and his brother Kenneth Mitchell. He is survived by: his daughter Janet Spargo (Michael) of Charlotte Hall, MD; and his siblings, Lois Mitchell, Maron Mitchell of Fort Smith, AR and Eulayla Mitchell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
