He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurt and Julia Kurt (Jendrick). He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Kurt; and his children, Evelyn (Marc Jones), Mary (Lindsey Mason), Patricia (John Perkins), Laura Kurt (Cece) of Juneau, AK and Jeff Winkies of Aberdeen, MD. He is also survived by five loving step-children and their families; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
