She was predeceased by: her parents, Thornton Bridgett and Frances Olive Bridgett of Charles County, MD.; her son Selby H. Pruitt; and her siblings, Lewis Norman Bridgett, Thornton Bridgett, Jr., James Calvin Bridgett, Francis Edward Bridgett and Virginia Corn.
She is survived by: her husband William M. Kernozek; her brother Joseph Lester Bridgett; and her nieces and nephews, William Pruitt, Debra Pruitt, Connie Putt and Kelvin Pruitt. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
