Anthony Thivener Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anthony Thivener of Lusby, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Anthony may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Stephanie Thivener; his daughter Shannon Lara; his parents, Marie Thivener and Gil Thivener; and his grandchildren, Cheyanna Alabi and Noah Smith.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
