We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2023, at the age of 97, James Lewis Barr in Luke, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil H. Barr and Dorothy J. Barr (Clayton); his wife Naomi; and his siblings, Robert Barr, Frances Mitter, Mildred Folk (Midge) and Judy Moorehead.

He is survived by: his sister Beverly Clem (Garry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Jim requests donations be sent to: St. Jude's Cancer Research Hospital for Children, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
