With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Griffith Schmitt of Lothian, Maryland, who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ella E. Griffith (Catterton); her husband Andrew L. Schmitt; her father Eugene Griffith; and her siblings, Rosalie Crandell (Nelson) and Earl "Sonny" Griffith (Lillian).
She is survived by: her niece Deborah Crandell Whetzel; and her nephew Jeffrey Griffith (Christine). She is also survived by two great nieces, two great nephews, four great-great nieces and five great-great nephews.
