She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Moreland and Mary Moreland; her husband James Manning Barksdale; and her sister Mary Lou Bottner. She is survived by: her children, James "Chip" Churn of Annapolis, Sandy Marshall of Hardeeville, SC and Sherry Brewer of Brandon, FL; and her grandchildren, David Byers, Sara Churn and Victoria Mackey. She is also survived by two great grandchildren.
