Ernest Shepherd III Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Shepherd III of Lothian, Maryland, born in Annapolis, Maryland, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Shepherd, Jr. and Doris Elizabeth Shepherd Phibbons (Cramer); and his nephews, David Franklin, Jonathon White and William Lauer Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Joan Elizabeth Shepherd of Lothian; his children, Michael Robert Shepherd (Shelly Perkins) of Lothian, Karen Shepherd Weimer (Mike) of Gore, VA and Carole Nutwell (Chris Lantier) of Lothian; his grandchildren, Eleanor Kretzschmar (Robert), Mary Kaphon (Alex), George Graves (Reanna) and Elizabeth Roberts (Chris); his great grandchildren, Henry and Dean Kretzschmar; his siblings, Jean Krebs (William), Jane Bishop (Richard) and Nancy Hill; and his stepsister JohnnieAnn Franklin (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
