It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Mae Thomas of Lothian, Maryland, born in Cheverly, Maryland, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilbur Moreland and Mary Ellen Moreland (Windsor); her brother James W. Moreland, Jr.; and her goddaughter Rebecca Sue "Becky" Moreland. She is survived by: her husband Dennis J. Thomas of Lothian; her daughter Joann Thomas of Lothian; her granddaughters, Amanda Hudson (Daniel) of Crownsville and Emily Parks of Lothian; her sister-in-law Donna Moreland; her godson James Michael "Mike" Moreland of Lothian; and her great-nieces, Madison Varlichi and Caitlyn Moreland.
Memorial donations in Eleanor Mae's name may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
