Steven Lee Shockey Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven Lee Shockey (Lonaconing, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Steven Lee left this world on December 27, 2024 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Shockey and Wanda J. Shockey (Wilson); his brother John "Tom" Shockey; his sister-in-law Jeanie Shockey; and his father-in-law Robert L. Alkire.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Alkire Shockey; his son Aaron P. Shockey; his siblings, Denny Shockey, Wayne Shockey (Marion) and Cindy Smith (Billy); and his siblings-in-law, Mark Alkire (Becky), Steve Alkire (Penny) and Nancy Yates (Danny). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar First United Methodist Church (14 Church St, Lonaconing, MD 21539). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
