He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Merrbaugh and Barbara Merrbaugh; his wife Joann McCullough; his daughters, Johnna Byers and Jill Barth; his brother-in-law David McCullough (Montse) of Meridian, Idaho.; his sons-in-law, Bill Byers and Mike Barth; his grandchildren, James Byers (Autumn Smith) of Ellicott City, MD, Alexander Byers, Savannah Barth, Julia Barth and Callie Barth; his niece Barbara Ann Knippenberg; his nephew Frank "Bucky" Bennett; his granddaughter Paula Brackett; and his sisters, Marie Merrbaugh, Lila Mowbray and Annetta Bean.
