With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janie Marie Ott of Lonaconing, Maryland, born in Green Spring, West Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob A. Frye and Beulah B. Frye (Kerns); her husband James E. Ott; and her siblings, Fred Frye, Robert Frye, Audrey Strzyz, Nellie Born and Jackie Frye.
She is survived by: her children, John Umstead, Kathleen Plagmann (Garrett), Joseph Ott, Justin Ott, Jennifer Ott and James Ott (Virginia); her granddaughter Jessica White (Joseph); her siblings, Leroy Frye, Velma Smith, Francis Frye, Bonnie Payton and Shirley McClellan; and her former husband Russell Umstead. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
