He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frank B Thomas, III and Marion Reich Thomas of Hancock, MD.; his brothers, Frank B Thomas, IV and Dr. Ralph Thomas; his grandchildren, Dylan Knotts and Layla Twigg; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Christopher Lane and Maxwell Horz, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Angela Smith Thomas; his siblings, Marion Lane (Li'l Marion) of Waynesville, NC., Theresa Pittman of Hancock, MD., Rosemarie Horz of Hancock, MD., Charles Thomas (Elizabeth) of Annapolis, MD., Paul Thomas (Kathy) of Williamsport, MD. and Elizabeth Woltemath (Brian) of Virginia Beach, VA.; his sister-in-law Tania Thomas of Williamsport, PA.; his parents-in-law, Dale and Linda Smith of Hancock, MD.; his sister-in-law Lynda Carbaugh (Jim) of Needmore, PA.; and his grandchildren, Matthew Mellott, Emberlyn Knotts, Katie, Wyatt Twigg, Lucy Thomas, Zana, Leo Rose and Gunner Hovermale. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews, 38 great nieces and nephews, as well as numerous extended family members and close friends.
