He is survived by: his daughters, Jaime Simpkins and Elizabeth Creek; his grandchildren, LeAnne Simpkins, Andrew Halverson, Christopher Simpkins and Leslee Simpkins; and his sisters, Dianna Hartley and Lora Joy.
