It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Trail of Little Orleans, Maryland, born in Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Trail and Mary Elizabeth Trail (Schriver); his children, Thomas Trail and Brenda Trail; and his brothers, Cecil "Bill" Trail and Darhl Trail.
He is survived by: his wife Doris "Peggy" Trail (Carlisle); his children, Margaret Boden (George), Barbara Morgan (Robert) and John R. Trail, Jr. (Robin); his siblings, Calvin Trail, Ethel Clingerman and Viola Purnell; and his grandchildren, Jessica Truax (Garrett), Jason Reed (Roxan), Robert Boden, Steven Boden, Jennifer Trail, Bradley Trail and John Morgan.
The family has requested casual dress only and no flowers.
