We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2020, at the age of 89, Phillip S. Rue Sr. (Linkwood, Maryland), born in Cambridge, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip H. Rue and Anna Smith Rue; his wife Charlotte Todd; and his friend Russel C. "Bussie" Spear Jr.. He is survived by: his sons, Gregory C. Rue (Tammy) and Phillip S. Rue, Jr. of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Jenna Rue, Carley Rue and Brandon Manley; his sister-in-law Peggy J. Rue; his niece Anna R. Brohawn; and his cousin Barry L. Smith. He is also survived by relatives, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Dorchester Historical Society, 1003 Greenway Drive, Cambridge, MD 21613.
