With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eric Nelson of Lexington Park, Maryland, born in Norman, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 25, 2023 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Eric Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Carl G. Nelson; his son Ian M. Nelson; and his sister Jane Lopez. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Dunn Nelson of Newport Richey, FL; his wife Karen Nelson; his children, Matthew Dobson (Emily) of San Antonio, TX and Morgan Williams (Ed) of Mechanicsville, MD; and his sister Sherrie Goldwin of Ballwin, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
