It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Jean Pyles of Lexington Park, Maryland, born in Delbarton, West Virginia, who passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie S. Stepp and Trulie Stepp Brewster; her husband Roy E. Pyles; her siblings, Thathus Stepp, Randy Stepp and Naomi Stepp Carr; and her stepbrother Jim Brewster.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Jean Campbell (Larry) of Longs and Harlan Roy Pyles (Dawn Case) of Oak Island; her grandchildren, Catherine Walker (Zane), Annie, Katie Begley, Brittany Campbell Lowe of Charleston, WV, Amber McKinnon (CJ) of Lyndonville, VT and Casey Russell (Jessica) of Romney, WV; her pet Maya; and her siblings, Herchel Carlie Stepp, Melvin Gordon Stepp (Darlene), Geraldine Stepp Blair, Arlene Stepp Owens, Yvonne Stepp Guillory, Brenda Stepp Wallace (Norris), Sandra Stepp Belcher (Bill) and Rhonda Stepp Meglen (Joseph). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as cousins and very close friends.
