He was predeceased by: his parents, Marriott Hurst and Mae Hurst (Tither); and his brothers, Edward and Robert Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Nina Sue Long; his children, Kimberly Hardcastle (Fitz) of Baltimore, MD and Kevin Hurst (Amy) of Columbia, MD; and his grandchildren, Quinn, Declan, Charlotte, Michael, Amayah and Lucy.
