He is survived by: his mother Arthuretta Bowman,; his son Elijah Bowman; his siblings, Vanessa Bowman, Carolyn Young, Gina Bowman-Goldring (Kevin), John and Kenny Bowman; his stepson Kenneth Washington III; his goddaughter Kayla Goldring; his son Charles A. Bowman, III; his sisters, Darlene Queen and Charlene Miles; and also Stephanie Perkins-Bowman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
His drive to make a meaningful difference led him to establish The Elijah International Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting communities through faith, environmental conservation, economics, and education.
