With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zane Oliver Rettstatt Jr. (Leonardtown, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 64. As Zane Oliver departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Zane Oliver may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Zane Oliver leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Zane Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Frances; and his sisters, Francine and Karen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Brinsfield Funeral Home (22955 Hollywood Rd, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
