He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Platt and Paula Pearl Platt (Pelton). He is survived by: his son Dustin of Leonardtown, MD; his wife Pennie; his children, Danielle Platt Kelly (Shawn) of Great Mills, MD, Rachael of Leonardtown, MD and Joshua Platt of Leonardtown, MD; his sisters, Michelle Greenbaum (Dennis) of Baltimore, MD and Cindy Platt of Baltimore, MD; and his grandchildren, Bianca, Braelyn and Daniel Kelly. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a trust Memorial fund has been set up for Steve's youngest son Joshua for his academic future (college).
