He was predeceased by: his parents, Sanford Erman Brooks, Sr. and Lilly Sparshott Brooks; and his sister Erma Brooks Henry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Newheiser Brooks (Together) of Washington, D. C; and his children, Sanford Erman Brooks, III (Joan) of Mechanicsville, MD, Patrick Cullen Brooks of Hollywood, MD, Frank Edward Brooks (Debbie) of Mechanicsville, MD, Anne Brooks Quinn (Daniel) of Silver Spring, MD, Claire Brooks (Kent Buckham) of Hughesville, MD and Ellen Brooks Marra (Dennis) of Mechanicsville, MD.. He is also survived by Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
