It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Alden Griffin Sr. of Leonardtown, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Peter Atwell Griffin; and his siblings, Robbie Pierce, Norma Jean Gibson and Joy Farrell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Martha Griffin; and his children, Pete "Petie" Griffin, Jr. (Tabatha) of Bushwood, MD, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tennyson (Ronnie) of Chaptico, MD, Cynthia Pogue (Todd Epley) of Mechanicsville, MD, Marybeth Drury (Joe) of Leonardtown, MD and Charity Rash (Mark) of Leonardtown, MD. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
