She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Moyer and Paul Jacob Moyer; and her brothers, Robert Moyer and William Moyer. She is survived by: her husband James Shaffer; her sons, James Shaffer, Jr. of Hollywood, MD, Roderick Shaffer of Lusby, MD and Erick Shaffer of Leonardtown, MD; and her brother Paul Moyer of Cumberland, MD.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
