Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Nancie Anne Johnson (Leonardtown, Maryland), who passed away at the age of 74, on May 3, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Wellington Schalk III and Lorraine Schalk; her sisters, Pamela and Janet Schalk; and her stepmother Doris Schalk.
She is survived by: her children, Monique Wright (Craig) and Joel A. Johnson (Joanne); her brothers, Tom (Debbie) and Lee Schalk (Leslie); her stepbrothers, Bruce Miller, David Miller and Lawerence Miller; and her grandchildren, Ali, David, Anthony, Luke, Cailyn and Keira. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nephews, and many friends.
Until then, in lieu of flowers, a simple request that would make Nancie happy: grab a beverage, belt out a Day-O to Belafonte's Banana Boat song, and raise a glass to honor one of the most generous, fun-loving, and kindhearted people you could meet.
