Mary Ching Mattei Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2023, at the age of 88, Mary Ching Mattei of Leonardtown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvert I. Norris and Mary Elizabeth Norris (Gatton); her husband Robert Mattei; her former husband John R. Ching; her siblings, Betty Ann Beavan, Dickie Norris, Bobby Norris and Billy Norris; and her stepson Russell Mattei.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Robin Beard (Jeff), Ronald Mattei (Lynn) and Ricky Mattei (Roxanne); her siblings, Joan Payne (George) of Mechanicsville, MD and Jackie Norris of Compton, MD; and her sister-in-law Emily Norris (Myrtle Ann Norris). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, which were like her own children.
