She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignatius Jackson and Mary Catherine Jarboe (Connelly); her husband Elmer Francis Tippett of Medley's Neck; and her siblings, Ann E. Kurz, Virginia H., John L., James A. and Joseph D. Jarboe.
She is survived by: her grandson Charles F. Tippett; her stepdaughters, Dorothy Griffin and June Tippett; her half-brother Elmer A. Jarboe; her grandchildren, Melanie Hooper (Gary) of Benedict, MD, Amanda Moritz (Keith) of Leonardtown, MD, Amber Collins (Jason) of Mechanicsville, MD, Aimee Tippett of Flint, MI and Mark Townsend of Olney, MD.; and her sister Mary L. "Peggy" Stone of Waldorf, MD.
