He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Emerick Barnes; his wife Patricia Viola Rose; and his stepmother Mary Ernestine Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Bernezia Elizabeth Harris Green of Mary's County; his children, Andrea Huntley (Chris), Anitra Harris and Marcus Harris, Jr.; his grandchildren, Christopher Huntley (CJ), Cierra Huntley, Kamaree Harris and Kareem Harris; and his siblings, Dr. Jacquelin Kohlasch, Blondell Logan, Marsha McKinnon (Byron), Pamela Cassagnol, Eric Barnes, Joseph Barnes and Joseph Green (Quita). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
