She was predeceased by: her husband William Arthur Taylor, Jr.; and her daughter Joy Samuel. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hope Breckenridge (Brian) and Richard Griffiths III. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Roberta was preceded in death by her daughter, Joy Samuel; and siblings, Inez Lusby, Gladys "Bea" Farrell, and John "Jack" Padgett, Jr. Due to the pandemic and funeral home restrictions, only family will be received on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am at Raymond Funeral Chapel in La Plata, MD.
