He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Earl Byron, Sr. and Gertrude Isabelle Byron; and his sister Eleanor McKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Mary Byron of California, Maryland; his children, Tammi Byron of California, Maryland, Glenn Byron (Mary Jo) of Castle Pines, Colorado, Leigh McDonnell (Joseph) of Middleburg, Florida, Melvin De Barr of Great Mills, Maryland and Stephen De Barr (Suzanne) of Valley Lee, Maryland; and his siblings, Geneva Inman of Bangor, Elizabeth Hall of Boston, Massachusetts and David Byron (Diana) of Littleton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
