He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Zimmerman and Maggie Zimmerman (Fox); his brothers, Robert Zimmerman and Carl Zimmerman; his siblings-in-law, Ella Zimmerman, Marjorie Zimmerman and Lloyd Brubaker; and his foster daughter Sharon Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Zimmerman (Gibson); his children, Anna Zimmerman (Mike Lyons), Caroline Zimmerman (MD), Kurt Zimmerman (FL), Alyssa Zimmerman (MD), Jason Zimmerman (FL) and Shannon Riley (MI); his siblings, Marlin Zimmerman (TN), James Zimmerman (PA), Irene (Sam Sensenig), Joyce (Henry Brubacher) and Elaine Brubaker (PA); and his sisters-in-law, Ann Zimmerman (KY) and Rosie Zimmerman (PA).
