He is survived by: his wife Ella; his sister Dorothy "Dottie" Barnes; his children, Linda Somerville, Janice Jones, Lawrence Somerville, Jr. (Shug), Lisa Thomas, Kerry Somerville, Wanda Smith, Rena Bannister and Marvin Somerville; his grandchildren, Angela, Deneta, Ramon, Ashley, Angel, Shavonna, Brandon, Trey Somerville, Devon, Dion Dyson, James and Smith; his children, Debra Somerville, Donna Maddox (John), James "Bubba" (Brenda), Wendell and Brian Carter; his children-in-law, Kelli, Alecta Somerville and Alfred Thomas; and his siblings-in-law, Pearl Greene, Arthurlee Mills, Joyce, Theresa Somerville and James "Jimmy" Mills. He is also survived by great Father to his children and a great Husband.
